Money-Saving Tips:

1.  Opening  the cabinet doors on exterior walls and closing the crawlspace vents can keep your pipes from freezing during the Winter. 

2.  In October, your above-ground backflow (cross-connection) preventer should be removed  to prevent the possibility of it freezing and breaking during the Winter months, just store it in the garage or in a closet until the Spring.  If you prefer to remove it yourself, we can send instructions to you via email or you can schedule a time for us to remove it for you.

3.  Replacing the baking soda in your refrigerator?  Pour the old baking soda down your kitchen and bathroom drains to help them smell fresher.

4.  Vinegar is a mild acid and is a safer way to help keep drains clear.  It won't clear clogs, but it is a very good preventive measure before a clog starts.  A cup per month in each drain will usually get the job done.
